For our client, a forward-thinking company based in Bratislava, Slovakia, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power BI Consultant to drive their data analytics initiatives forward

What You'll Do:

As our Power BI Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of our data transformation journey. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Solution Design & Implementation: Designing, developing, and implementing robust Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
• Data Platform Expertise: Leveraging advanced Microsoft data technologies. This includes using Microsoft Fabric components such as Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehousing, Real-Time Analytics, and Data Science tools to build comprehensive, end-to-end data solutions and pipelines.
• Data Modeling & Transformation: Creating efficient and scalable data models, performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Performance Optimization: Optimizing Power BI reports and underlying data models for performance and scalability.
• User Training & Support: Providing training and ongoing support to business users on Power BI and data literacy.
• Best Practices: Advocating for and implementing best practices in data governance, security, and data visualization.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data, reports, and the Power BI ecosystem.

What You'll Bring:

We're looking for a candidate who is not only technically proficient but also a proactive problem-solver and excellent communicator.

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in a Power BI development or consulting role.
• Microsoft Data Platform Proficiency: Demonstrable hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components (e.g., Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehousing) and building data pipelines within this ecosystem.
• Power BI Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Power BI Desktop (DAX, M-Query), Power BI Service, and Report Server.
• Data Skills: Strong SQL skills; experience with various data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, SharePoint, web services).
• Analytical Thinking: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and data flows.
• Communication: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proactiveness: A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Language: Fluency in English
