For our client, an innovative and growing company based in Bratislava, Slovakia, we are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented IT Analyst to play a crucial role in their technology initiatives.

What You'll Do:

As an IT Analyst for our client, you'll be instrumental in optimizing their IT systems and ensuring they align perfectly with business objectives. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand, document, and analyze their needs, translating them into clear functional and non-functional requirements for IT solutions.
• Process Mapping & Optimization: Analyzing current business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing IT-driven solutions to improve workflows and operational effectiveness.
• Solution Design & Documentation: Participating in the design of new IT solutions or enhancements to existing ones, creating detailed documentation including use cases, flowcharts, and specifications.
• System Configuration & Testing: Assisting with the configuration of IT systems and applications, and actively participating in testing phases (UAT, integration testing) to ensure solutions meet requirements and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Communication: Acting as a key liaison between business users, development teams, and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout project lifecycles.
• Problem Solving & Support: Investigating and resolving IT-related issues, providing support, and identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Data Analysis: Analyzing data to identify patterns, insights, and areas for system or process improvement.
• Change Management Support: Assisting with the implementation of new systems or processes, including user training and creation of support materials.

What You'll Bring:

We're looking for a candidate who is not only technically curious but also an excellent communicator and a meticulous problem-solver.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) as an IT Analyst, Business Analyst, System Analyst, or similar role, preferably in [mention relevant industry, if applicable, e.g., finance, manufacturing, retail].
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with the ability to break down complex problems and propose practical solutions.
• Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and various IT systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, custom applications).
• Modeling Skills: Proficiency in UML (Unified Modeling Language) for creating various diagrams (e.g., use case, activity, sequence diagrams) to model system behavior and structure.
• Documentation Skills: Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive requirement specifications and process flows.
• Problem Solving: A proactive and systematic approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and vice-versa.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset, comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
• Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart), project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana), and proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with Enterprise Architect or similar modeling tools is a significant plus.
